Funds for Training Employees
Customized training for your workforce
Did you know employee training funds are available through your local Wisconsin technical college to improve your business’ productivity and competitiveness? Hundreds of Wisconsin companies have used Wisconsin Workforce Advancement Training (WAT) grants to subsidize customized training for their employees and we can help you get those funds.
Employee training contacts at Wisconsin’s 16 technical colleges can assist you with your grant application and deliver the training programs. The grants range from $2,000 to $200,000 and usually cover up to 90 percent of the costs.
Our grants managers:
- Determine your business needs.
- Match them to the technical grant requirements.
- Solve problems and refine work processes.
- Prepare the grant application.
- Develop training and provide instructors.
From quality to safety, schematic reading and more, your employees will gain portable skill sets and your business will gain a competitive edge. You determine when, how and where the training will be delivered. Wherever is convenient, appropriate and cost-effective for your business.
WAT grants are an easy, flexible streamlined process leading to a better-trained workforce. They are good for you, for your employees and for Wisconsin.
